23/10/2026

At an extraordinary meeting of the Supervisory Board of GEN-I, d.o.o., held on 22 October 2026, Andrej Cerk was appointed as a new member of the Management Board of GEN-I, d.o.o.

The appointment of the new Management Board member is part of a broader process to modernise and harmonise the governance of subsidiaries within the GEN-I Group and to adapt operations to market conditions and the Group’s development needs. “As a new member of the Management Board, Andrej Cerk will lead this process at GEN-I Sonce. He will focus on the continued development of its business and the harmonisation of corporate governance standards across the Group, thereby supporting the continued international growth and development of GEN-I Sonce,” said Jure Soklič, M. Sc., MBA, President of the Management Board of GEN-I, on the occasion of the appointment.

Andrej Cerk has extensive experience in the financial industry. On the Management Board of GEN-I, d.o.o., he will succeed Sandi Kavalič, who will remain with the GEN-I Group and continue to lead sales, analytics, development and risk management.

The Management Board of GEN-I now comprises President of the Management Board mag. Jure Soklič, MBA, and Management Board members dr. Igor Koprivnikar, MBA, Andrej Cerk and Klemen Pleško. The Management Board will continue to implement the Group’s sustainable growth strategy and strengthen its position among the leading energy companies in the region.

The GEN-I Group’s international presence, access to global energy markets, long-term partnerships and the expertise of its employees remain key foundations for providing customers with a reliable, efficient and competitive energy supply.
