GEN-I, d.o.o. founded.
2009
Enters the household and small business markets.
2011
Already the largest supplier of electricity in Slovenia.
2012
Enters the natural gas supply market.
2016
Becomes the first supplier in the region to enter the self-supply market and build solar power systems.
2017
Becomes the first company in Slovenia to issue green bonds.
2020
Builds its first community solar power plant in the village of Budanje.
2021
Starts supplying exclusively carbon-free electricity.
2022
Builds its first utility-scale solar power plant (North Macedonia, 17 MW).

Builds its 10,000th solar power system in Slovenia.
